Liv Delano Royce, is a portrait artist working at the intersection of identity, memory, and time. Her signature series, Temporal Fractures, renders the human figure as a fragmented site—where selfhood unravels and reasserts itself through controlled disintegration. Using palette knife and restrained tonal palettes, she sculpts figures that hover between presence and disappearance, creating tension that is both contemplative and confronting.
Raised between Barcelona and Martha’s Vineyard, Royce descends from a discreet legacy of arts patronage stretching from prewar New York to postwar Europe. Today, she offers no public narrative beyond the canvas. Her work is released through private, invitation-only channels to a steadily growing collector base across Europe and North America.

Season Two of Temporal Fractures will debut in Spring 2026, continuing Liv’s exploration of identity’s delicate erosion. These new portraits deepen her investigation of the disillusionment that precedes self-acceptance—moments suspended between rupture and stillness, where the ordinary becomes sublime.
Before venturing into new terrain, Liv will complete a final slate of privately-held commissions—an infrequent practice she approaches with quiet precision and care. These bespoke works, rarely offered, mark the closing of a chapter before her next evolution begins.
Following Temporal Fractures S2, Liv will depart from the figure to pursue a body of large-scale abstract works rooted in emotion-color synesthesia. These pieces aim to translate visceral feeling into pure hue, offering an interior landscape where tone and sensation coalesce. A third and final season of Temporal Fractures is tentatively envisioned for 2027—though, as always, Liv reveals only what she deems necessary.
